How to Get Customer Service By Phone

Marriott makes it hard to find a phone number on their website. But this is main phone number, and when you call it you will hear the following options:
- Thank you for calling Marriott
- How can I help you today?
- You can say things like “make a reservation” or “whats my points balance?”
Here is what happened when we made a few requests:
- “Cancel my stay”
- OK cancellation, please say or enter your Marriott Bonvoy account or phone number associated withe account.
- I think you are asking to be transferred to an associate…if you answer a couple more questions it will be the fastest way to help you.
- “Question about a reservation”
- To get you some help, which of the following do you need?
- Book a reservation, change a reservation, cancel a reservation or something else.
- “something else”
- Before connecting you to an agent tell me what I can help you with.
- “Speak to an agent”
The system then proceeds to ask you the same questions above. However you will be transferred to an agent eventiually.
